The Little Museum of Guignol

Steps away from the Place du Gouvernement in the heart of Vieux Lyon lies The Little Museum of Guignol (Le Petit Musée de Guignol in French), a small puppet museum dedicated to the famous Guignol puppet.

The Little Museum of Guignol has a varied collection of puppets and exhibits which will guide you through the history of Guignol. Take one of the attraction’s audio-guided tours to hear the explanations across the museum’s two floors. You’ll even get to try to use one of the Guignol puppets yourself!

To get to The Little Museum of Guignol, you’ll need to enter the souvenir shop in Rue Saint-Jean 6. Prepare to see puppets galore at this compact, family-friendly museum.
