Although all are welcome to visit the Temple Mount, only Muslims can enter the iconic Dome of the Rock Islamic shrine.
The Temple Mount is certainly worth a visit when in Jerusalem. That said, a high degree of caution is recommended since, due to the site’s importance in various religions, the Temple Mount is often a centre of tension, civil unrest, and conflict.
