Beschreibung

Departure from your accommodation to begin the Perito Moreno Glacier excursion, accompanied throughout the journey by a bilingual guide from Los Glaciares National Park.

Traveled to the walkways in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Starting the tour, you can see the Argentino Lake and its Redonda Bay towards the right of the road.

In the first 50 km, the Patagonian steppe dominates the landscape. Within Los Glaciares National Park, tree vegetation predominates, mostly belonging to the Nothofagus family (Lengas, Ñires, Coihues de Magallanes). Please note that you must pay for the entrance to the Park. The guide will also explain the rules of behavior within the National Park. During the remaining 30 km, stops will be made to take panoramic photos and the first views of the Moreno Glacier.

The walk on the catwalks is free, however, the guide will accompany the group to the main balcony and will remain to provide assistance. The walkways have an extension of 5 km and are made up of stairways that descend to approach about 300 meters from the front of the glacier.

You will combine this tour with a boat ride - Nautical safari. During one hour you will sail through the Rich Branch of Lake Argentino, at a distance of 150 meters from the south face of the glacier.

Then return to the hotel Calafate city center
