This grand slam tour packs in all Gran Canaria's must-sees – volcanic landscapes, mountain villages and more. You'll tick off views over Roque Nublo, visit the towns of Tejeda and Teror, plus an aloe vera plantation, too.First, you'll delve into the valleys and mountains of the interior, and it all starts at La Vegua viewpoint. Next, head to an aloe vera plantation to get the lowdown on this elixir of life. We'll then climb to another viewing area for panoramas over the most recognizable natural sight on the island – Roque Nublo – before moving on to one of Spain's prettiest villages, Tejeda.Then, after a typical local lunch in the cosy village of Las Lagunetas, you'll visit the charming highland hamlet of Teror. It's famed for its balconied colonial homes and mountain-framed basilica. Rounding off the day is a stop at the volcanic Tirajanas Crater.

Supercat Dolfijn Spotten Premium

This evening tour of Las Palmas takes you to its two most popular spots – Las Canteras beach area and history-steeped Vegueta in the city centre. It's a great opportunity to mingle with locals and let your hair down.Your evening kicks off with a couple of hours to poke around Las Canteras area. After work, many locals make a beeline for Mercado del Puerto, a market where you'll find all sorts of local specialities, from fresh fruit and veg to tasty tapas. It's just a stone's throw from the beach. Las Canteras strand is a great spot from which to watch sunset, depending on the time of the year.After transfer to the city centre, you'll head to Vegueta, the oldest part of Las Palmas. See landmarks such as Christopher Columbus's house and Santa Ana cathedral, built with volcanic rock. There'll be time for you to try out typical tapas or browse the boutiques of Triana, too.
