Aktivitäten in Bad Tölz

Considered among the most typical Bavarian towns, Bad Tölz is located south of Munich in the Isar river valley. The town preserved its identity for many centuries and it is the perfect place to take in the authentic Upper Bavaria atmosphere.

Walk along Marktstrasse, the lively main street where upper-class burghers and rich merchants used to live since the Middle Ages. Admire the picturesque houses and the decorated facades of Marienstift, the former girls’ grammar school, and of the Old Rathaus. Climb to the top of Kalvarienberg, to see the characteristic church with two towers and to enjoy a unique view over the town.
